It is the summer of 2021, Rodney Nicolson, a Maricopa County deputy attorney, is visited in his office by a mysterious stranger claiming to be on death row. His client doesn’t know who he is or what he has been accused of. Nicolson has only a few weeks to find out and whether he is guilty or innocent before his execution. What he doesn’t know is that his visitor’s identity and fate are inextricably linked to the very County Grand Jury that is simultaneously meeting in the basement. What Nicolson learns about this stranger will change his life forever.
